Solo Show

Gallery La Mesa
located at Rick's Custom Framing
8808 La Mesa Blvd.
La Mesa, CA 91941

This show is my first West Coast Solo Exhibition. I have about 14 pieces exhibited.

The Union Tribune originally announced my show on the front page of "On San Diego" as a "Weekend Best bets" item with a color artwork image a day before my reception. The opening reception was quite a success. Honorary Consul General of Japan in San Diego, Dr. Mike Inoue, was among the delighted guests in that evening.

Gallery La Mesa is located in a custom framing consultation space at Rick's Custom Framing Shop. It might be a small space itself. However, the wall space for the gallery section is big and quite nice. It is an elegant and cozy, very charming space to exhibit a high quality fine artwork (such as mine! :) I am so very honored to be invited and present my first solo show in San Diego at this wonderful gallery. I appreciated the enthusiasm, all the support and preparation for my solo show by the gallery director Kirstin Sturdivan, as well as the owner Rick and his wonderful family. And of course, Rick's custom framing craftsmanship and service are superior. Needless to say, I highly recommend him for your next precious (!) framing projects!

Opening reception: May 23.
Meet the Artist Day: June 21.

5/23-7/03/2008.
